Bioidentical Hormones and Effects on the Human Body

Bioidentical Hormones and Effects on the Human Body
February 18, 2019

Following the chemical structure, bioidentical hormones are identical to natural bodily hormones. These hormones are derived from plant tissues and match the human hormones, molecule to molecule. These hormones are often referred to as natural because of this similarity. Unlike bioidentical hormones, the structure of a synthetic hormone is not precisely similar to the hormone produced by the body. Hormone replacement therapy in OKC is beneficial for men and women both.

The chemical differences between synthetic and natural hormones leave different substantial effects on the body. These hormones are entirely different and are not interchangeable. Many trials show that synthetic hormones are harmful, while medical literature does not support the adverse effects of natural hormones.
